Custom Carpentry, Cabinetry & Finish Work in Hurst, TX

Innovations Carpentry serves Hurst, TX with custom carpentry, cabinetry, finish and trim work, stairs, millwork, and door work for homes across the city. Hurst is a Mid-Cities community between Fort Worth and Dallas, with a large stock of established mid-century neighborhoods and pockets of newer construction, so our work here runs the full range: kitchen and cabinetry rebuilds, custom closets and built-ins, trim and stair work in older homes, and full buildouts in newer ones.

Our shop is in Arlington, a short run north, so Hurst is inside our regular delivery and install loop. Most projects are pre-built in the shop and delivered, which keeps build time and dust in your home to a minimum. Whether the home is an established mid-century house near Central Park or a recent remodel near the Grapevine Highway corridor, the approach stays the same: quality materials, clean joints, and work that fits the house.

Our carpentry services in Hurst, TX include:

  • Custom Carpentry — built-ins, closets, home-office walls, mudroom lockers, and pantry shelving built to the room.
  • Custom Cabinets — kitchen, bath, and storage cabinetry built and installed to fit the space.
  • Finish & Trim Carpentry — crown molding, baseboards, casing, wainscoting, and trim detail.
  • Stair Work — custom stair installs, tread and riser replacement, handrails, and curved or returned geometry.
  • Millwork — custom moldings, paneling, coffered ceilings, fireplace surrounds, and mantels.
  • Doors & Windows — custom door fabrication and interior door and window trim.

History

Hurst grew up in the 1870s as a farming settlement in northeast Tarrant County and took its name from William Letchworth Hurst, an early landowner who in 1903 donated right-of-way and land for a depot on the railroad line that ran through the community.

Hurst stayed a small rural community until the postwar boom, when the growth of nearby Bell Helicopter and the Mid-Cities turned it into a fast-growing suburb almost overnight. It was incorporated in 1952 and became one of the three Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) cities, reaching a population of about 40,000 in 2020, with much of its housing stock built during the mid-century expansion.

Why Work With Innovations Carpentry in Hurst, TX

Hurst homeowners range from owners of established mid-century homes who want careful trim, cabinetry, and stair updates to families finishing out newer remodels, and both expect work that holds up and looks intentional. We build to that standard. We are a workshop, not a sub-contractor pass-through or a big-box installer, and we run our projects like a workshop should: shop pre-fabrication, the same crew from quote to install, and a finish that fits the home.

Beyond Hurst, we also serve nearby communities including Euless, Arlington, and Fort Worth. See our full service area for every city we cover.
