Westlake, TX
Custom Carpentry, Cabinetry & Finish Work in Westlake, TX
Innovations Carpentry serves Westlake, TX with custom carpentry, cabinetry, finish and trim work, stairs, millwork, and door work for homes across the town. Westlake is a small, affluent town of large custom estates, in communities like Vaquero and Glenwyck Farms, so the work here tends to be ambitious: full custom cabinetry, library and study built-ins, statement staircases, and detailed millwork on a scale that suits the homes.
Our shop is in Arlington, an easy run southeast, so Westlake is inside our regular delivery and install loop. Most projects are pre-built in the shop and delivered, which keeps build time and dust in your home to a minimum. Whether it is a Vaquero estate or a Granada custom build, the approach stays the same: quality materials, clean joints, and work that matches the level of the home.
Our carpentry services in Westlake, TX include:
- Custom Carpentry — built-ins, libraries, closets, home-office walls, and shelving built to the room.
- Custom Cabinets — kitchen, bath, and storage cabinetry built and installed to fit the space.
- Finish & Trim Carpentry — crown molding, baseboards, casing, wainscoting, and trim detail.
- Stair Work — custom stair installs, tread and riser replacement, handrails, and curved or returned geometry.

About Westlake, TX
The Westlake area was first settled in 1847, when Charles and Matilda Medlin arrived with about twenty other families on Peters Colony land. For more than a century it remained rural, and in the mid-twentieth century much of the land became the Circle T Ranch, a roughly 2,000-acre spread assembled by Dallas attorney and oilman J. Glenn Turner. When residents moved to incorporate in the 1950s, the name Southlake was already taken, so they chose Westlake instead.
From the 1980s onward, Westlake transformed into a corporate and luxury-residential center: the Solana business park, designed by architect Ricardo Legorreta, opened in the 1980s, and major employers including Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Deloitte University, and Sabre built campuses in and around the town. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Westlake’s resident population was 1,623 in 2020, though its daytime population runs far higher with the workers its campuses draw. The town straddles Tarrant and Denton counties in the north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Westlake ZIP Codes We Serve
Westlake, TX is served primarily by ZIP code 76262, with small edges running into neighboring ZIPs.
76262 covers nearly all of Westlake, including the Vaquero and Glenwyck Farms estate communities, the Solana and Schwab campus areas, and the town’s custom-home neighborhoods. This is where essentially all of the town’s residential carpentry work happens, and at the estate scale common here that means full custom cabinetry, extensive built-ins, statement stairs, and detailed millwork. The town’s edges touch the Southlake (76092), Fort Worth (76177), and Keller (76248) postal areas, but the heart of Westlake sits squarely in 76262. Innovations Carpentry provides its full range of carpentry, cabinetry, finish, stair, and millwork services throughout the Westlake area.

Glenwyck Farms Park, a wooded park of oaks and pecans, gives the town a piece of preserved green space among its estate neighborhoods.

Why Work With Innovations Carpentry in Westlake, TX
Westlake homeowners tend to invest in carpentry at the level their estates call for, custom cabinetry, detailed millwork, and statement stairs, and they expect work that holds up and looks intentional. We build to that standard. We are a workshop, not a sub-contractor pass-through or a big-box installer, and we run our projects like a workshop should: shop pre-fabrication, the same crew from quote to install, and a finish that matches the level of the home.
Beyond Westlake, we also serve nearby communities including Southlake, Keller, and Arlington. See our full service area for every city we cover.
